This software uses JPEG format to compress image and support all kinds of JPEG formats. There is no image pixels’ loss if you choose the compression rate from 1:5 to 1:10 to compress the image with JPEG format. If you choose high compression rate from 1:20 to 1:30. there is no visual difference between compressed image and uncompressed image. The high compressed image is suitable to create the index image for research promptly in the network.
At present the formats the software supports include BMP, JPEG, TIFF, GIF, PCX, TGA. etc..
