The software for the knowledge database of sedimentary structure image

The main purpose of this software is to provide the whole image and text knowledge about sedimentary structure for the geologists when they obverse and describe the core’s sedimentary structure character. It can save and manage the image&text data about sedimentary structure property, the data includes: image of core sample、model、well number、stratification、formative environment、sedimentary property and related knowledge.
According to the application analysis, the system will be divided into five sub-database: stratification structures database，surface structures database，contemporaneous deformation structures database，chemical genetic structures、exposed genetic structures database，lebensspuren structures database.
Geological analysis(Core sedimentary structure type)
① stratification structure
Include: block bedding
horizontal bedding、parallel bedding、inclined bedding、planar cross stratification、wedge cross stratification、trough cross-bedding、flushed cross-bedding、buninoid cross-bedding、pennales cross-bedding、hummcoky cross stratification (HCS)、flaser bedding、phacoidal bedding、anti-granular stratification、anti-granular stratification with a coarse part、granular stratification、Bouma sequence。
② bedding structure
Include: wave-generated ripple、water-running ripple、interference ripple、eolian ripple mark、current ripple、channel mould、groove mound、wash plane。
③ contemporaneous deformation structure
Include: sand ball、sand pillow、deformation structure、convolute bedding、drained structure。
④chemogenic structure：
Include:syngenetic subcutaneous nodes、diagenism subcutaneous nodes、late-formed nodes、crystal imprint、stylolite line/stylolite、cone-in-cone structure.etc
⑤lebensspuren structures
include：bioturbate structure、bioskeletal texture、organic texture、bioclast texture、oncolite、stromatolithic texture structure、resting trace、crawling trace.etc
